A Visual Mapping of Transitions

I. The Foundations | Light & Primary Line

• The Skiathos Legacy: Born in Skiathos. The island's pristine natural environment serves as the artist’s primary visual reservoir, fundamentally informing his management of form and light.

• The Discipline of Contrast: A period dedicated to the Doric power of monochrome. Utilizing pencil, charcoal, and India ink, his research focused on the precision of the line, rooted in the nuanced clarity of political caricature.

II. The Structural Shift | Expanding the Palette

• Architectural Alchemy: Undertaking a demanding interior design project served as a decisive catalyst within his established painting practice. The necessity to meet the project's aesthetic and spatial demands compelled the integration of chromatic scales. The successful outcome and the subsequent creative revelation permanently reshaped his technique, establishing color as the protagonist of his visual language ever since.
